Our Story

Human Weapon is the Warrior Spirit burning inside each of us. The inner voice and desire driving us to be the best version of ourselves. Whether in the ring, the field of play or our daily lives, we always strive to be better than the day before; sharpening our razor’s edge to become a Human Weapon. Join us on a journey of self-discovery and mastery.

Willie Lim, the original Human Weapon, inspired us as a parent, role model and lifelong martial artist. Through his martial arts journey, he pioneered Tae Kwon Do in New Zealand, taught in over 15 countries and has been recognized as one of the Australasian Martial Artists of the century. His quest for knowledge led him to study many different styles and blend them into the most effective combat system – mixed martial arts before MMA.

The lessons he imparted carry well outside the dojo; driving us to be better athletes, business people and family men. While we struggle to maintain a healthy balance, the tenets he taught anchor us as we strive for that elusive equilibrium. Through Human Weapon we wish to share these values to guide all warriors on their personal journeys.

Strength

The strength of character to make the hard decisions, to persevere, and to take the path less traveled.

Discipline

Sacrifice

Sacrifice must be made for anything worth having.

Respect

Nespect those that have come before you, respect those who will follow, respect your opponent and respect yourself.
